November whereabouts!
This should have been posted four days ago, but I was too lazy to write about anything. Anyway, here goes a post about how fast and random my November was.
Ready yourself with this long-ass update!
November 12, 2011: Vertigo
An open party that was hosted by IMES. It’s a professional organization in DLSU for Industrial Engineering students. Holy &%*#! They sure know how to throw a party! I got really wasted that night. The you-don’t-know-where-you’re-going-and-who-you’re-talking-to-and-you-already-passed-out-but-you’re-still-awake type of drunk. That night was probably the drunkest I’ve been in my whole entire life! Good music + awesome company + great booze! Wouldn’t wanna miss their next party!

Ali, me, Josie, and Dom. I don’t know who the guy at the back is! Or we were probably introduced that night, but I was too intoxicated to even remember.

Hi, Josie! The original plan was to get her drunk, but oh well! I really had tons of fun. And you’ll never guess who took care of us… the USG President herself, Ms. Cabe Aquino. For that, we are deeply grateful that you’re present and available at the time that my friend and I were in dire need of help. Plus, Andrew Cruz! The LA Rep of FAST08. :)

Here’s a better photo during the night. A big hola to Toby, Mark, Bani, Jiz, Dugs, Josie, and moi.

I don’t know why I included this photo. I’m committing a social suicide, but just to prove I’m not lying. Threw all my worries and cares away to the ocean!
November 16, 2011: My birthday
Oh wait… I didn’t celebrate my 20th because I was too busy with schoolwork. Instead, my Operman groupmates and I went to Pacific Waves in Bulacan to do our research for our final paper. As far as I can remember, I had a pretty sucky day. Apart from the fact that we were cramming for a major paper, my dad forgot to greet me. Yeah, it was like a Sixteen Candles moment, but it wasn’t. We didn’t even go out for dinner (which was unusual because it’s a tradition).
I got this cake a day before though. From my sweet and lovable blockmates!
It’s from Kink Cakes in case you’re wondering. :) And no, I didn’t eat the penis part. Hahahaha I left it for someone else to eat.
This truffle cake a day after from Josie and Dei!

Simple yet sweet surprises from the people you love. :) I cried when I got the cakes, btw. I’m a big crybaby, I know.
November 22, 2011: Nessa’s 19th and Eat to Feed
It’s becoming a custom in our block barkada to give surprise cakes every birthdays! Since they got me a penis cake for my special day, we had Jacques to buy one for Ness. Only this one’s from Dairy Queen. An Oreo something cake!

And in return, she got us a Four Season pizza from Yellowcab! I’m kidding! Heehee.

We also got to eat the cake ‘cos it’s an ice cream cake. Don’t want it to melt! A big thank you to Nessa for the pizza. :)
Later that day, a project by OSEC and BLAZE11 called Eat to Feed was held at the Razon Sports Complex. All the proceeds of this are for the benefit of a certain organization (and I obviously can’t remember the name).
Josie and I went there to support Teamba aka Kara, Bene, Mark, Jojo, Maan, and Raymund. :)

Bene and Maan during the contest! Go, Teamba!

Basically, what the contestants had to do was to eat whatever’s served on their tables and every level has a catch. They just can’t put everything in their mouth! For the first level, they had a monster sized pizza plus Tempura chips and one can only eat after one person’s finished. The second round was my fave! They were served with a whole chicken, six cups of rice, a pack of ketchup, and Boy Bawang. The catch of the level was one has to feed the person to their right. They can’t feed themselves!
Unfortunately, I had to go home during the third round. The champs from the first Eat to Feed won again, I’m guessing. They were too fast and… big. No offense! Hahaha but congratulations!
November 29, 2011: Tony’s Birthday Celebration, UNCOBOGABLE and Fiamma
Another birthday celebrant? Another free Yellowcab pizza! I LOVE FREE FOOD! :) Tony ordered two boxes of pizza for us.

And ta-da! We got him a cake and a really yummy one! I’m not sure where Nessa bought it. Made to kill our tonsils!

I love chocolate so much I had a whole slice while the others shared. And me telling this makes me feel so fat.
*Have to hit the gym like the rest of my family! I’m the only one who’s a lazy ass in our home. Meh. :(
Fast forward to Uncobogable! It used to be just a batch competition for those who can sing, dance, and model; but the organizers opened it to the whole College of Business! Hence, the even title UNCOBOGABLE.

Made these for the winners and the big sign up on the stage. This is the view from the tech booth where I was the whole time. :)

Congratulations to all the winners! Unfortunately, I don’t have a picture of them ‘cos it was difficult for me to multi task. :( But the show was a success! We had Ms. April aka “Congraaaatulatiooooons!”, Ms. Shalala, and Makata as our judges.
And for the final part of that night, we went to Fiamma as we were required by our Operman prof for incentives! No offense to the organizers, but the party sucked balls. No pictures inside the event and decided to leave our cameras in the car.

We arrived there at 10pm and wanted to leave the place 20 minutes after! And Jacques’ driver was nowhere to be found. We waited for 2 hours until I asked my driver to pick me up. That night couldn’t possibly get any worse! I really wanted to cry. Couldn’t stop thinking bout the stuff I left in the car. My laptop, camera, my Sun phone, and my make up kit! Hahaha oh well, Jacques returned everything the next day. Apparently, his driver fell asleep and his phone was fucked up so we couldn’t reach him. Hay. Wanted to strangle him the moment he walked in our front porch. I forgive you, Kuya Eric.
Apart from my trip to South Korea and Vigan, this was how my November went. :) (Mis)Adventures here and there! Wonder how the rest of my December will be!
Thanks to Joselle dela Rosa for some of the pictures!
